Welcome to April’s edition of more free money from dividend investing. A few changes to the portfolio in April are as follows:
Sold
Tahoe Resources and Boardwalk Real Estate
I sold Tahoe as although i like the company they need to do a better job of hitting their targets, once they get back on track i will look at them again
To be honest selling Boardwalk Real Estate was a strictly profit taking move as i believe the company has not yet fully recovered in the Alberta region and the price was not reflecting that.
Purchased
Corus Entertainment Inc
I have owned this in the past and took a pretty good gain last year, i decided to purchase this back as they finally had a strong quarter, they pay a nice dividend and the advertising business is a play i want to be in.

What did we do with the $73.73?
Well i could buy this game, nowadays $73.73 doesn’t get you much so I feel it’s best to reinvest all of it within the portfolio to really get the compounding interest to where i’d like it. Slow and steady wins the race
As i share each months progress i’ll be sure to include any changes to the portfolio
